The art print is rooted in an enduring work of literature—a scene that has survived centuries because it still has something to say.

The recipe comes from my grandmother’s cookbook.

I include it because recipes are literature, too. They are stories passed hand to hand instead of page to page. They carry memory through taste, through repetition, through the quiet act of making something the way someone else once did.

This project exists at the intersection of public legacy and private remembrance—of the books that shaped us and the people who did.
